Do I have to book a domain with my web hosting package?
If you haven’t yet reserved a domain, you can add a domain directly when ordering your web hosting package. You can check here to find out if your desired domain is still available. Go to domain checker

What do I have to consider regarding data protection?
The new Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) entered into force on September 1, 2023, affecting all website operators. To ensure the security of your data, Green offers a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate free of charge in all web hosting packages. You can set up several domains, including several subdomains, with your account. Click here to check whether your chosen domain is still available.

How long will it take to receive my web hosting credentials?
Once Green receives your payment, you will receive the login details for your control panel by email. There, you will find all the credentials you need, for example, for setting up your emails.

Do I need any technical knowledge to set up web hosting?
Green will configure the web hosting for you. If you book a web address with your order, this domain will also be set up by Green. You can then get started with building your website using an application such as WordPress or the website builder.

Can I also use the web hosting for my e-mails only?
Yes, you can also use web hosting just for your emails without hosting a website. However, an email-only hosting package (Mail XS, S or M) is often cheaper if you don't need a website. For more advanced needs, a hosted Exchange server is recommended.
